English & Reading Workshop (for October Test)

LOCATION:

The English and Reading Workshop will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016, from 4:30 to 8:30 PM.  The workshop is designed to emphasize the strategies and content of the English and reading sections only.  The course is structured in a way that is equivalent to the instruction received in 3 to 5 hours of private tutoring.

Students will receive slightly more English practice than reading because the explanations for the grammar from the instructor are needed more heavily than the reading comprehension questions, but all reading strategies will be taught and over an hour of practice will be allotted for the reading as well.

IMPORTANT: Students will receive an additional test to take home for practice.  It is very important that they utilize the strategies learned to apply to an additional practice test before the test day.
