This course is designed to help students prepare for the upcoming ACT test. The course covers content and ACT specific strategies for all four subjects (English, Reading, Math and Science) and homework is assigned. All materials are supplied except pencils and calculators. Snacks are provided at break time.
Included with the course are 6 to 8 hours of free ACT resources, additional math resources and Rocket Reader. Rocket Reader is a special program that improves reading speed. Most students feel time is a major issue for the Reading and Science sections of the test. Rocket Reader is a tool that helps students complete the test in the time allotted. Students should start work with Rocket Reader as soon as possible and continue using it until the test date.
