Birmingham ACT Weekend Intensive Course

9:00am - 12:30pm AND 1:30pm - 5:00pm

Sunday, March 7th, 2027

1:30pm - 5:00pm

This course is designed to help students prepare for the In-School ACT for Juniors.  The three-session course covers both subject content and ACT specific strategies for all subject areas (English, Reading, and Math).  

*Note - if Science is required for in-school test, science will also be covered briefly, although it no longer affects student composite/super scores)

*Strategies include time management and testing tips. 

*All curriculum is provided. 

*Homework is assigned between classes. 

*Students should bring pencils/pens and calculators.  

*Snacks will be provided during break time and students can leave for lunch between sessions on Saturday.

NOTE:  Registration for the course does NOT register you for the test!  If you are taking any test other than the juniors in-school test, you must register separately for a testing location.  The ACT is nationally standardized and must be registered for only through the act.org website.
