Session 1 -  August 21, 2017 - 4:00 to 6:00 PM

Math: Focus on Pre-Algebra/Elementary Algebra - Generally Math Test Problems 1-30.  On Student's ACT Score Report if this line is less than 16 then your student would benefit from the material covered today.  The maximum score in this area is 18 and it represents 24 of the 60 math problems.  Generally, a score of 15 would mean 4 of these problems were missed, which would decrease the math score 2 to 3 points (just based on the "easy" problems).

Science: Focus on science passages and science concepts that appear more frequently - George will discuss the science behind the passage.  All questions will be reviewed in detail.

Session 2 -  August 28, 2017 - 4:00 to 6:00 PM

Math: Focus on Algebra/Coordinate Geometry section of the test - Usually Math Test Problems 31-45.  On Student's ACT Score Report if this line is less than 15 then your student would benefit from the material covered today. A score of 15 means student missed 3 problems in this area, which would decrease the math score 3 points.  A score of 10 means they missed 9 to 10 problems in this area, which would decrease their score by 7 to 10 points.

Science: Students will work through a wider variety of science passages and more focus will be on improving speed.

Session 3 - September 4, 2017 (Labor Day) - 4:00 to 6:00 PM

Math:  Focus on Plane Geometry/Trig section of the test - Usually, Math Problems 46-60, but will include some that are scattered in the 30-45 range.  Each problem missed in this section decreases score at least 1 point.  The max score is 18 and a score of 12 means 6-8 problems were missed in this section.  We will go over a wide range of problems in this area.

Science:  Focus is expanding on the types of passages and primarily working on speed on the hardest science passages.
